Easter Cards
March 8, 2010

It is so good to design cards using soft light colors! Can you tell I want Spring NOW?! This stamp set, Abundant Hope (#118547 clear mount $13.95) is so lovely and can be used for any spring card, be it birthday, thank you or thinking of you. With as many different varieties of daffodils out there, think of all the different ways to color in the image! I used markers for the flowers and a blender pen with the Bordering Blue marker to make the faint shadowing. The DSP paper is from the new Sweet Pea Stack (#117161 $24.95) and of course, no card would be complete without the Sale-A-Bration Scallop Trim Border Punch (#118402) you can earn FREE with a $50 minimum order.

This card was TOTALLY cased straight out of the Occasions Mini Catalog, with a few alterations! I crimped the bottom of the card front for some texture and cut the little leaves from the (celery) scallop border stamped image.
And that cute little pink flower? There's that great Trio Flower Punch again (#109183 $15.95)! It punches out 3 flowers at a time.
So…who's hiding the eggs?

I'd love your feedback!

As always, your creations blow me away. Love the Medallion background and scallop border layer down the side of that first card. And, that textured touch with the crimper was just what that card needed! Glad to see you posting more often! I MISS seeing your art!
