Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I will be designing cards using the Ribbon of Hope single stamp found on page 208 in the Idea Book & Catalog (115552 $7.95). Here is one of the cards we’ll be making in my October Forget-Me-Not Class on Oct 10th & 11th. The lovely swirl background is actually a piece of our Bride Specialty Paper (115669 $13.95) that I’ve burnished with ink and a sponge. What’s cool is the swirl in the paper is foiled, so it resists the Melon Mambo ink! Imagine all the different colors you could burnish this paper with! You get 5 sheets of swirl paper and 5 sheets of striped foil paper. The foil gives the paper shine, pattern and texture. Check out the other colors as well… black (Groom) and vanilla (Bridesmaid).
